“The only thing that overcomes hard luck is hard work”

- Harry Golden

Macey Butchko is a 23 year old artist from the Cleveland, Ohio area. She grew up in a very rural town and was exposed to a wide variety of musical genres. She recently relocated to New England and lives near Providence, Rhode Island. As a kid, she began to realize she had a love for music and singing. She started working hard and taking vocal and piano lessons at The School Of Rock in Rocky River, Ohio. As she got older, she started pursuing music in many different aspects; such as musical theater, singing competitions, and competitive choirs. Her favorite roles that she has played include Enjolras in Les Mis, Maureen Johnson in Rent, and Morticia Addams in The Addams Family. She was very involved with her high school's audition-based Select Choir and FFA chapter. She has had success with singing competitions and talent shows through her community and FFA; such as national and state conventions.

Macey plays at local bars, coffee shops, restaurants, music festivals, private parties, churches, wineries, and marinas when she is not writing her own music. She has released a full album called “Deep Mirrors”, an EP called “Colors” and a single called “Feel Alive Again” that she really enjoyed writing and creating for you all. She is a full time student, as well as musician, at Kent State University. Her love of the arts goes beyond singing; as she spends majority of her time writing poetry, painting, filming, and of course, making music. She has recently begun teaching music lessons online and loves spending time teaching kids about the love of music. Macey tries to participate in as many opportunities as she can to continue to grow and learn in her musical career; and hopes that wherever she ends up in life, she is singing on a stage.

“She’s an old soul in a young woman’s body. No way she hasn’t lived a couple lifetimes before this one to have that much passion and soul in—not only her voice—but her lyrics too.”
